Anita Laviola, QCSW, LCSW, CSAC, has been a Professional Social Worker since 1991.

Specializing in substance abuse issues, including co-dependency; anxiety/PTSD; sexual assault; depression; trauma; grief and loss; eating disorders and other compulsive disorders–shopping addictions, debtor issues; family therapy and negotiating life transitions; art blockages and allowing oneself to be creative. I work with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family and groups. I have had the pleasure of working with a number of mothers and fathers with their teenagers to minimize the tensions around issues of adolescence, independence, dating, future planning. I love being part of people’s transformations, growth and becoming resilient and free to live their lives as fully as they want. As a visual artist I understand the complex dynamics of creativity and blockages to ones process as well as this being a vehicle to personal growth. I am trained in EMDR, NLP and EFT for use in trauma resolution, substance abuse and anxiety.
